DECEMBER NEWSLETTER 2009
We hope all of you had a safe and relaxing Thanksgiving Holiday, and enjoyed the time off with family and friends. The Holiday Season is fast approaching so please keep in mind that our next break runs from December 23 through January 1. Classes will resume at the studio on Monday, January 4, 2010. Our wishes for a blessed Holiday and a Happy and Healthy New Year are extended to all of you.
Now that the winter season is upon us, please remember to follow the Mars School District ’s cancellation and delay schedule for inclement weather. If Mars would have a delay on Wednesday or Thursday morning, all early classes would be cancelled. We will also have information regarding cancellations and delays on our website. North Pittsburgh Dance Academy is in the process of selecting costumes for the Spring Performance. The current costume fee is now $55 per costume. We are presently measuring all the students for their costumes so please be sure to ask your dancer to see Miss Erin or Miss Jen for their proper measurements. All parents must check with the front desk to approve costume sizes before the costumes orders are placed. The costumes will all be ordered the first week of January. All costumes must be paid in full by January 1, 2010. If payment cannot be made before we close for the Holiday break, please mail your payments to the studio. NPDA, 158 Brickyard Rd. ,Mars, Pa 16046.
The studio will be celebrating the Christmas Holiday from December 14th to the 17th. Be sure to wear your red and green and bring your camera to capture the memories.
Reminder!!!
To avoid a $10 late fee, all tuition payments are due by the 10th of each month. When paying by check, the student’s name and appropriate payment is to be placed in the memo portion of the check. Thank you for your cooperation regarding this matter.
Please remember that ALL personal belongings should be taken to the Dressing Room and NOT left in the Ballet Café when taking class. Please be sure to check the Lost and Found Basket by the front desk for it is brimming with lost articles. All unclaimed items will be donated to the needy over the Holiday Break. Remember that NPDA is not responsible for any personal items that might turn up missing. So keep all expensive clothing, jewelry, and electronics in a safe place.
North Pittsburgh Dance Academy is conducting ongoing fundraisers throughout the year. These are not mandatory, but implemented to help with any dance related costs. Going forward, all profits will be returned to the parent and then the parent can return any proceeds to the office. These proceeds can be used toward tuition, costumes, dance clinics or even upcoming dance trips. Information on the current fundraiser is availableat the information counter. Anyone interested in sponsoring a fundraiser should see Miss Gege or Miss Patty at the front desk.
Be sure to look for our NPDA dancers as they dance their way down Main Streetin Disney’s Magic Kingdom . The parade is being taped this week (December 2-6),and will be televised on ABC TV Christmas morning. Congratulations and good luck to these dancers and all the parents that are making this trip.
