Studio Information
NPDA is proud to offer 6,000sq. ft. of state of the art dance space. We have four spacious studios with barres and full-length mirrors. We provide safe, professional floors designed specifically for dance. These wooden floors are "sprung" to act as a shock absorber, preventing strain and injury to muscles, tendons and joints, and then covered with a specialized, cushioned non-slip dance surface. There is also a dressing room equipped with lockers and large waiting area. North Pittsburgh Dance Academy is the only studio in the area with a “Ballet Café”. Here students as well as parents can enjoy fresh fruits, vegetables, yogurt, coffee, and flavored teas. The Ballet Café also offers free wireless internet service. This is a great place for students to grab a healthy snack and get some homework done in between classes!
